Our Mission

Our mission is to stop the 6th natural extinction with technology for conservation, education,
accelerated data collection and community outreach.

We have 4 main objectives:

  1. To be the fastest, most cost-efficient provider of wildlife data using disruptive technology, that rapidly speeds up access to accurate data for immediate use in conservation.
  2. To grow and support the largest network of people in technology for wildlife conservation with the mutual goal of ending the sixth mass extinction.
  3. To identify threatened, trafficked or poached wildlife at an individual level and ensuring that illegal wildlife trade is identified, and prosecuted at every opportunity.
  4. To collaborate, educate and support global wildlife-human conflict communities with access to education, innovation and partnerships for a sustainable wildlife conflict-free future.

The Big Wild is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization aiming to be the fastest, most cost-efficient provider of wildlife data that rapidly speeds up access to accurate wildlife conservation data. We work as a non-competitive, collaborative network, partnering with organizations in the Travel & Tourism industry and technology for wildlife conservation community, all with the mutual goal of ending the sixth mass extinction.
